For years, we’ve brought you the best of Malaysian cuisine in our kitchen. It’s high time that we add depth: by shining a light on the ties that bind these dishes to our people and places.
Introducing our latest experience: Market Walk & Cooking Class with Resident Chef Jamie.
An immersive dive into local perspectives and culinary traditions. We’ll take you to the Teluk Bahang wet market before class. Chef Jamie will introduce you to the treasures of the small-town market: with stories about locally grown produce, staple ingredients and the community as she goes about shopping for the day’s class.
Upon returning to the Garden, you’ll have time to wander around and learn about the spices and tropical plants that have shaped world history before the cooking class commences. The experience ends with lunch at the Garden’s patio.
